Savings goals
Savings goals that tell you what to put aside each month
Give each goal a target and a date, and WalletCalm works out how much to save every month. Money you already have counts too: set it aside in your accounts without moving a cent.

Sample data
Set aside what you already have
Your emergency fund may already sit in your savings account. Set that amount aside for the goal and it counts towards the target, while the account shows what's still free to spend.
- Set money aside in one or more accounts
- Free balance shown on each account
- No transfers needed
- Deposits and withdrawals with history
A plan for every month
A saving plan sets a fixed amount for the goal on a set day each month. It appears in the bills calendar, the cash-flow forecast and the goals part of your budget plan, so saving is planned like any other bill.
- The monthly amount needed to reach your date
- Saving plans on a day of the month
- Part of the budget plan
- Reminders when a contribution is due
Shared goals
In a household (Pro), goals can be shared: a new sofa, a holiday, a joint emergency fund. Everyone sees the same progress, while personal goals stay private.
- Personal and household goals
- A progress ring and the amount still needed
- Pay-down goals for debts
- Free: 2 goals. Pro: 50

Questions & answers
How much should I save each month?
WalletCalm divides what's still missing by the months left until your target date and shows it as the monthly amount needed. It updates as you save and as the date gets closer.
What does setting money aside mean?
You mark part of an account's balance as belonging to a goal. The money stays where it is, but it counts towards the goal and is no longer shown as free to spend.
How many goals can I have?
Free: up to 2 goals. Pro: up to 50.
Can I save towards a goal with my partner?
Yes, with a household (Pro): shared goals sit next to your private ones, and everyone in the household sees the same progress.
