Investment tracker
Track your investments next to your budget
Add your stocks, ETFs, funds and crypto with every buy, sale and dividend, and WalletCalm shows what they're worth, what you've gained and how your money is spread. Your holdings stay encrypted: the price file is the same for everyone, so the server never learns what you own.

Sample data
Holdings with their real cost
Each holding keeps its trades: buys, sales and dividends, with their fees. WalletCalm works out how many units you hold, your average cost, the gain you haven't realised yet and the gains you've already taken.
- Stocks, ETFs, funds, bonds, crypto and more
- Average cost and unrealised gain
- Realised gains and dividends this year
- Quantities with up to 8 decimals
Prices without giving away your portfolio
Type in a price whenever you like, or let WalletCalm fill in prices from a shared daily price file. Every signed-in user downloads the same file and matches it against their own holdings in the browser, so nobody can tell which symbols you hold.
- One daily file for everyone
- Matched in your browser
- Converted to your account's currency
- A price you enter yourself always wins
Part of your net worth
Investment accounts count towards your net worth with their holdings' value plus the cash in the account. Buys and sales can move that cash, dividends can be recorded as income, and the long-term planner starts from your real numbers.
- Allocation by type of investment
- Cash and holdings in one account
- Dividends as income if you want
- Net worth history month by month
How it works
Investment tracker
- 01
Create an investment account
An account of type investment, in your portfolio's currency.
- 02
Add holdings with their buys
Symbol, quantity and the price you paid including fees. That's it.
- 03
Follow value and gains
Every new price updates the value, the gain and the allocation.
Private by design
Symbols, quantities, the prices you paid and your gains are encrypted in your browser. The server only serves the shared price file and never sees which prices you use.
Questions & answers
Which investments can I track?
Stocks, ETFs, funds, bonds, crypto and anything else with a price per unit. Each account keeps its own currency.
Where do the prices come from?
You can type prices in yourself at any time. When automatic prices are switched on, WalletCalm downloads one daily price file for listed stocks, ETFs and crypto (the same file for everyone) and fills in your holdings' prices in your browser.
Does WalletCalm connect to my broker?
No. You add trades yourself, so no broker login or account access is needed, and your portfolio stays private.
Is the investment tracker free?
Yes. Free plan: up to 10 holdings. Pro: unlimited.
How are gains calculated?
With the average cost method: what you paid including fees, divided by the units you hold. A sale realises a gain or loss against that average; the rest stays unrealised until you sell. It's an overview, not a tax report.
Can I track RSUs and stock options?
Yes. Add a grant with its vesting schedule and cliff. Vested RSUs are added to the holding on their vest dates at that day's price; options show what has vested and what exercising would gain now, and count in your net worth once you exercise them.
