Sample data
Every loan, fully scheduled
A loan is linked to a liability account, so its balance is always what you really owe. WalletCalm computes the amortization schedule, the payoff date and the total interest, and can post the interest automatically each period.
- Car, mortgage, student and personal loans, credit lines
- A full amortization schedule
- Automatic interest postings
- Payments in the bills calendar
What an extra payment saves
Try an extra amount on every payment, or a one-time payment, and see how many months and how much interest you'd save before you decide.
- Extra per payment or one-time
- Months and interest saved
- The new payoff date
- Compare before you pay
Pay-down goals
Pick a date by which a credit card or loan should be paid off. The goal follows the debt account, shows what you've paid off since you started and the extra needed each month to finish on time, and appears in your budget plan.
- Follows the real balance
- Extra payment needed per month
- Part of the monthly plan
- Total debt on the dashboard

Questions & answers
What is an amortization schedule?
A table of every future payment that shows how much goes to interest and how much reduces the balance, until the loan is paid off.
How much does an extra payment save?
It depends on the rate and the balance. WalletCalm shows the exact months and interest saved for the amount you enter, as an extra on every payment or as a one-time payment. Check first that your loan agreement allows extra payments.
Is the debt planner free?
Pay-down goals are part of the free plan. The loan planner (schedules, extra-payment planning and interest postings) is part of Pro, at €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year.
Does it work for credit cards?
Yes. A credit card is a liability account, and a pay-down goal on it shows how fast you're paying it off and the monthly amount needed to clear it by your date.
